The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2021 for the Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP).

The program aims to increase the number of eligible nursing faculty nationwide.

NFLP provides funding to accredited schools of nursing to establish and operate a student loan fund and provide loans to students enrolled in advanced education nursing degree programs who are committed to becoming nurse faculty. Grantees will provide loans to students who aim to become nurse faculty.

The application cycle closes on February 8, 2021 in Grants.gov.

Eligible applicants are accredited schools of nursing with advanced education nursing programs.

HRSA expects approximately $28.5 million to be available in FY 2021 to fund 90 grantees.
